The Emirates International Salon Culinaire [EISC] is a series of practical and display-based culinary competitions; entry to which is open to professional chefs, pastry chefs, cooks and bakers.

Competitors are judged by a panel of international adjudicators, each one of whom is an approved international judge of the Worlchefs Association and locally-based adjudicators. Entrants to the various competitions do not compete directly against each other; rather, they strive to reach perfection in their art.

The series of practical and display-based culinary competitions sees professional chefs, pastry chefs, cooks and bakers in a visual and action packed extravaganza which has that has made it a major and unique attraction at ExpoCulinaire.

Some of the competitions are designed for entry by a single competitor; others are designed as team events. Each competition is called a class.

The Salon is a fully endorsed competition from Worldchefs.
