Competitors face an intense eight-hour challenge to complete six categories, including a gelato cake, chocolate tub, mystery fruit basket, dessert-style creation, and an artistic showpiece.

The competition aims to elevate gelato within the UAE while positioning the region on the international map. A key ambition is for this event to become a future semi-final, selecting Africa and Middle East chefs to represent the region at the international Gelato Cup in Italy.
